TERMS & CONDITIONS

Jenesis Medical Aesthetics & The Jayl House Wellness:

1. GENERAL

By booking, purchasing, or receiving services from Jenesis Medical Aesthetics and/or The Jayl House Wellness, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

These terms apply to all services, including but not limited to:

  • Medical aesthetic treatments (Botox, fillers, PRP, etc.)

  • Skin treatments (facials, peels, Plexr, etc.)

  • Wellness services (sauna, cold plunge, contrast therapy)

  • Retail purchases

  • Memberships and packages

  • ​

2. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

All medical injectable treatments are performed under the supervision of a licensed medical professional (Dr. Andrew Dargie) and performed by an RRT under medical orders and delegation.

  • Results are not guaranteed and vary by individual

  • A consultation is required prior to treatment

  • You must disclose all medical history honestly

  • You may be refused treatment if deemed unsafe

By proceeding, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with treatment.

3. WELLNESS SERVICES DISCLAIMER (SAUNA, COLD PLUNGE, ETC.)

Participation in wellness services is voluntary and at your own risk.

You acknowledge:

  • Exposure to heat and cold may pose risks

  • You are physically fit to participate

  • You will exit immediately if you feel unwell

Do NOT participate if you:

  • Are pregnant (without medical clearance)

  • Have cardiovascular conditions

  • Have uncontrolled blood pressure

  • Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Jenesis Medical Aesthetics & The Jayl House are not liable for any injury, illness, or adverse reaction. If you have any health related questions or concerns with use of the wellness services, you are responsible to contact your medical provider directly for questions and clearance prior to the use of any of our facilities.

4. BOOKINGS & APPOINTMENTS

  • A valid credit card is not required to secure all bookings/classes, however, you will be charged a no-show fee if cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of ANY appointment time or wellness service/class

  • We reserve the right to reschedule or refuse service

  • Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time or cancellation (where the no-show fee will apply)

5. CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Minimum 24 hours notice required to reschedule or cancel any appointment or class

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in:

    • Loss of deposit

    • Cancellation fee

    • Forfeiture of session (for packages/memberships)

6. REFUNDS & RETURNS

  • All services are final sale

  • Packages and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable

  • Retail products may be exchanged within 14 days if unopened

​

7. PACKAGES & MEMBERSHIPS

  • Expiry dates apply to all packages and memberships and will not be extended unless required by law

  • Missed sessions may be forfeited

  • Memberships are billed monthly and require 30-days notice to cancel

  • Our memberships involve a commitment of 3-months

We reserve the right to modify membership pricing or structure with notice.

8. PAYMENT TERMS

  • Payment is due at time of service

  • We accept most credit/debit cards and etransfers. At this time, we do accept cash, however we do not have the ability to provide change.

  • NSF or failed payments may result in account suspension and escalation to a third-party collection agency

9. CONSENT & PHOTOS

By receiving treatment, you consent to:

  • The procedure after being informed of risks

  • Before/after photos for medical documentation

Marketing use of photos/videos will ONLY occur with written consent.

10. LIABILITY WAIVER

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to:

  • Release Jenesis Medical Aesthetics & The Jayl House, its owners, staff, and affiliates from any liability

  • Assume all risks associated with treatments and wellness services

11. CODE OF CONDUCT

We maintain a safe, respectful environment.

We reserve the right to refuse service if you:

  • Are rude, aggressive, or inappropriate

  • Are under the influence

  • Do not follow staff instructions

12. PRIVACY

Your personal and medical information is kept confidential in accordance with applicable privacy laws in Ontario.

13. AGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 18+ for most services

  • Minors require parental/guardian consent

14. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
